Kevin Lewis, Breanna Sieracki, Dakotah Lindwurm to Run in the TCO Vikings 5k in Eagan on Oct. 20

Minneapolis/St. Paul - Oct. 16, 2018 - Three Team USA Minnesota distance runners - Kevin Lewis, Breanna Sieracki and Dakotah Lindwurm - will run in the TCO (Twin Cities Orthopedics) Vikings 5k that will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, at 3:00 p.m. in Eagan.


The 5k will finish on the 50-yard line at TCO Stadium, the new practice facility of the Minnesota Vikings professional football team.  Male and female winners of the race will receive a pair of tickets to an upcoming Vikings game.  In addition to the 5k, the event includes a tailgate after-party beginning at 3:30 p.m. followed by an awards ceremony at 4:30.

Lewis has a best in the 5k of 13:43 which he set on the track.  He is preparing to compete at the USATF 5k Championships in New York City on Nov. 3, followed by the USATF Club Cross Country Championships on Dec. 8.

Sieracki most recently finished second at the TC 5k on Oct. 6 with a time of 17:09.  On the track in the 5000 meters, she has posted 16:10.  Her fall season includes competing in the USATF Minnesota Cross Country Championships on Nov. 11, and at the USATF Club Cross Country Championships on Dec. 8.

New Team USA Minnesota athlete Lindwurm - who joined the team in September - has run 16:43 in the 5k.  So far this fall she has competed in the City of Lakes Half Marathon and the Medtronic TC 10 Mile/USATF 10 Mile Championships.  Her focus for the remainder of the fall season is the Pittsburgh 10 Mile on Nov. 4 followed by her debut in the marathon at the USATF Marathon Championships in Sacramento on Dec. 2.
