Breanna Sieracki to Compete at Minnesota Mile Sept. 7; Tyler Jermann, Katy Jermann, Dakotah Lindwurm to Run City of Lakes Half Marathon Sept. 9

Minneapolis/St. Paul - Sept. 6, 2018 - Four Team USA Minnesota distance runners will take to the roads this weekend with Breanna Sieracki competing at Grandma's Minnesota Mile in Duluth on Sept. 7, and Tyler Jermann, Katy Jermann and Dakotah Lindwurm running in the City of Lakes Half Marathon in Minneapolis on Sept. 9.


Sieracki is no stranger to Duluth having spent her collegiate running career at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and graduating in 2017. This will be her first appearance at the Minnesota Mile and she will compete in the women's elite division with a best of 4:46 in the distance.

The 12th annual Minnesota Mile event starts at 6 p.m. and is a stop on the Bring Back the Mile Grand Prix Tour.

In Minneapolis on Sunday, the City of Lakes Half Marathon starts at 8 a.m. at Lake Harriet with a course that also goes around Lake Bde Maka Ska (formerly Lake Calhoun).  The race is host to the USATF Minnesota Half Marathon Championships.

Tyler Jermann has a best in the half marathon of 1:05:57, while Katy Jermann has run 1:12:58 in the distance, and Lindwurm has posted 1:16:16.  All three are beginning their fall racing seasons and preparing for upcoming marathons.
