Minneapolis/St. Paul - July 25, 2018 - Team USA Minnesota's Danny Docherty will travel to Iowa this weekend to compete in the Quad-City Times Bix 7 Miler in Davenport on July 28.  This will be his second appearance at the race which starts at 8:00 a.m.

Most recently, Docherty won the USATF Minnesota 5k Championships at the Life Time Torchlight 5k in a time of 14:08 on July 18 in Minneapolis, and in June posted a personal best time of 1:04:09 to finish ninth at the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon in Duluth on June 16.

TC 10 Mile/Marathon Fundraiser Entries

Twin Cities In Motion has designated Team USA Minnesota as one of five Community Partners and has provided Team USA Minnesota with a limited number of entries to the Medtronic TC 10 Mile and the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon to use as a fundraiser.

The TC 10 Mile drawing has been completed and the race is closed so to gain a spot, those interested can obtain an entry through a fundraising effort.  There are still entries for the Twin Cities Marathon since the race hasn't filled, but runners can  chose to enter through one of the Community Partners such as Team USA Minnesota.

Please contact Pat Goodwin at or call 952-454-8876 if you are interested in a spot.  Through Team USA Minnesota, the contribution for the TC 10 Mile is $150 and for the Twin Cities Marathon it is $125, all of which includes the registration fee and is tax deductible.
